Hansa Wines & Spirits approached our agency to redevelop its brand identity and web presence as parts of its long-term strategy to reposition the company. Having operated for over 20 years in Malta, we were engaged to leverage the company’s leadership and reputation by elevating the brand with a more premium identity. Following the rebrand, we were also tasked in developing a new e-commerce platform that would integrate with the client’s stock system.
After first outlining the brand strategy, our team conducted visual brand research, which would premiumize the brand and create heritage in look and feel. This was executed through typographical research, colour studies and creating hand drawn illustrations. Following the rebrand, our team of UX / UI designers created a fully customised website delivering a unique user journey for both mobile and desktop. Translating the brand experience onto the website. Our team of developers created a robust e-commerce platform, fully integrated in the client’s stock system with months of stress testing and quality assurance management to ensure a seamless transition and use by client upon deployment.
We delivered an elegant and captivating brand, with the use of a hand-drawn illustration inspired by vintage engraving and typography – connoting heritage, legacy and trustworthiness. The crane symbolises grace, wisdom and strength, while the colours convey passion and energy: all important aspects of the repositioned brand’s vision. The brand was then translated across countless deliverables, from livery, vouchers and business cards, to bespoke wrapping and packaging design. The newly launched e-commerce website sees on average X amount of daily visitors and over X daily orders. With client online sales increasing by X percent.
