We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Marketing Accounts Executive to join our team. This role is a key bridge between our junior account staff and management, focused on independently leading client relationships, managing complex campaigns, and mentoring junior team members.

You will report to the Marketing Accounts Manager and act as a primary liaison between the agency and clients, ensuring their strategic needs are met with exceptional execution. This role requires a blend of seasoned marketing expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow client relationships: Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of key clients, building trust and ensuring a deep understanding of their business objectives.
  • Assist the management team in creating and delivering proposals for prospective clients.
  • Mentor and support: Provide guidance and support to more junior Marketing Accounts Executives, helping them develop their skills in client communication, project management, and campaign execution.
  • Strategic campaign oversight: Oversee marketing campaigns from concept to completion, managing budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Strategic planning and collaboration: Work closely with clients to develop comprehensive branding and marketing strategies that align with their goals, including social and environmental considerations.
  • Project and team coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, digital, content, tech) to coordinate project timelines and resources, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Performance analysis and insights: Analyze campaign performance data, providing clients with detailed reports and actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Scope and resource management: Have a strong understanding of staffing and scoping requirements, proactively identifying potential scope changes and effectively assigning tasks to the right team members.
  • Market expertise: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to provide valuable recommendations to clients and the internal team.
  • Problem-solving: Proactively identify and address client challenges, finding innovative solutions to ensure high client satisfaction.
  • Quality control: Ensure all creative briefs are clear and concise, aligning with the client’s brand objectives and marketing goals.

qualifications

  • Proven experience: 5 years of experience in an account management role within a marketing or advertising agency.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Strategic skills: A strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, and strategic planning.
  • Leadership potential: The ability to mentor and guide junior team members, with a clear path toward a leadership role.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead client meetings and present strategic plans.
  • Organisational skills: Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a focus on details and timelines.
  • Problem-solving: A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a focus on finding solutions and ensuring client satisfaction.
